I had the seats recovered, I installed carpet and headliner kits myself. While doing the head liner
I noticed just how bad all of the rubber weather striping is. I see there are plenty of options on the evil-bay but I am confused by the wide range in prices. For instance I see roof rail seals for anywhere from $90.00 to $245.00. The same thing with most of the other rubber pieces I need for my car.
My question is, what have any of you used, good, bad or ugly? Did anyone encounter fitment issues or specific kits to avoid?
I am mostly interested in the roof rail weather strips so I can finish the installation of the headliner. But I will eventually redo all of the rubber on the car, but for now I need to get the head liner done so I can drive the car. The wind lace that goes on the leading of the back side panels is available by the foot at a local upholstery supply house so at least I have that going for me.
