The next question is, Is that scorch red that's super faded or did someone paint it a faded pussy pink?

I'm glad you asked... It was originally a burnt orange, but someone did indeed paint it "pussy pink"... looks to be glidden or dutchboy brand. I don't care for it at all.

Turbine Bronze metallic was a nice color back then.

Lots of things can be replaced with a parts car and a gas torch, plus an appropriate holding fixture! Remember, "UNIBODY"!

I tried it today and can get it to tilt, but not sure how the telescoping part works.

There's a "lock" somewhere in the mix. Some of the earlier columns had a rotating center section on the steering wheel. Others had a small lock lever on the lower backside of the steering wheel casting. See if that fluted center of the steering wheel rotates. The horn buttons are in the spokes.

Have not done much other than move some things around and cut down some weeds so I can get it moved inside. I will keep moving forward, but it is still too hot here in FL. I do this for fun and the fun fades quickly when it is this hot and humid, lol. Card reader came in... a few more pics.
