Changed the motor in my 66 had a 440 built with a stroker kit put the motor in and now the speedo doesn't work helpppppp

Ya it's back in the tranny is their also an electrical plug in

Your speedo drive is not clocked right. There are markings on gear that correspond to the clocking marks on drive gear holder, if you pull it now a lot of trans fluid will come out just take the retaining bolt on claw off and using something to turn drive (small screwdriver) turn it and the housing until the gear meshes or probably a 1/4 turn but don't force anything or the plastic drive gear will be eaten when you start to drive car, or the gear is already broken
