Hi well i bought my 66 newyorker it came with a 383 will any 440 fit in it no matter the year helpppppppppp

The 66' Yorker came from the factory with the 440 (I guess the 383 was option OR someone yanked the original 440). I would think any 440 will do. Depending on where you get the 440 motor you may need to find different exhaust manifolds than what would be on the 440 you manage to score.

If some knucklehead swapped in a 383, leave it.

Look at the 5th digit in the VIN. If it's a J it had a 440, if it's a G it was a 383. 440's were standard but I did have a parts car that I bought with no drivetrain that was a G code.
