'67 300 in a video

Like the '67 300 commercial! Great dialogue and optics. Why can't FCA do something like that NOW? Only so many ways to do burnouts in Dodges, it seems.

Thanks for posting!

William Conrad did a lot of nice voice-overs for Ma Mopar in the 60's, and you can't beat the music on them. This one for the 300, and the attached (for the New Yorker), are two of my favorites.

It still works 50 years later, as I went out and bought one two years ago. It also confirms (for better or worse) my description for driving a slab-side '65-68's as piloting a "land based pontoon boat." Ahoy, everyone!

Nice NY'er. As for the "pontoon boat", to me that would be the similar Ford vehicles with their smooth/silent ride and huge dose of understeer when changing directions quickly. Plus lots of LEAN! Whereas the Chryslers, with higher air pressure (28-30psi) in their tires, would steer accurately and with little lean. MUCH more fun to drive, as a result.

There's a reason that Ford was the first to offer Michelin radials on their big cars . . . so they'd keep up with Mopars on bias-ply tires, by observation.

Just some thoughts. Enjoy!

As with the 67 Imp, my '67 New Yorker does NOT lean, and there isn't all that FoMoCo understeer, either. Smooth, accurate "sailing," much more fun to drive indeed.

yes , yes i do . but we put a bit of gold pearl in the yellow color , has a golden high light on the edges . had to custom mix the matl anyway . so its just a bit customized , i plan on putting a 67 charger seat n console setup in her . when i get back on it . and a custom grille as well . just plans right now . at least it moves under its own power .
