I caught the end of the original Columbo movie from February 1968. Columbo caught the killer who was driving, what I believe was a 67 New Yorker convertible.
I love watching that era TV to see the brand new cars from the 60s and 70s!!

In "Prescription Murder", the killer drove a 67 Imperial Crown Convertible.

www.IMCDb.com will get you to the Internet Movie CAR Database website. Search by car brand, movie, etc.

Don't forget about the 300 convertibles!

I only caught a glimpse of it at the end of the movie, so I wasn’t sure. It was definitely a sweet ride. I have the movie on dvd so I need to go back and watch it.

MOPAR did a lot of sponsoring then. Green Hornet is a fave of mine, and not just for the Black Beauty either...…

I’ve been catching episodes of adam12 on ME/TV lately. The original episode officer Malloy has a line he says to rookie Reed, “this is a 325 horsepower over head valve V8 engine...” and so on. Talking about the 383 looks like a satellite but I think it’s a sub model.
