Why, why, why do people go to the trouble of reupholstering the interiors in '60s cars with VELOUR? Cripes. If you can't find the original fabric you can always find a matching vinyl. That damn mouse-fur fabric ruins cars all the time for me.
 
And they do it on the big cars, not many B's and E's with interiors like that

Seems to be picking up in popularity lately. I go to a pretty big car cruise a couple of times a month and I see all kinds of cars with velour interiors. Sometimes it looks ok and sometimes it looks like crap or cheap to me. I would probably scrape up the extra bucks and get leather if I was going to redo the seats.
