Does anyone have a 68 fury convertible wiring diagram they would be willing to share? I seem to find all but the 68 online. I have found a blurry version of the engine side but I am about to redo the bulkhead connector and want to make sure I have this before starting. Thanks for all the help in advance.

This is all I was able to find in searching - keep in mind that My Mopar dot com has all kinds of downloads of manuals, parts catalogues, wiring diagrams and more. The entire service manual is available for a free download from here:

Service Manuals – MyMopar

Just scroll down a bit and you'll see it. Click to download, save to a dedicated folder on your drive.

Here's what they've got in the wiring diagrams page - not complete, but it's a start. The service manual will have ALL the wiring diagrams for your car, so dedicated small system diagrams (like Console, Power Windows, Locks, etc.), will be in the service manual, typically Section 8.

Are you looking for 68 or 69? I have dealer service manuals for my 67 i think 67 and 68 we’re almost the same. I could scan you some pages this weekend if you want.

Now I'm just noticing your post title and your post have different years. Title says '68, text says '69.

Whatever, now you know how to go and find it if it's '69

Hello everyone, is there a wiring diagram for the 68 Sport Fury convertible ? I have not been able to find one, 68 service manual not in the wire section or body, am I missing it.
Looking for the switch wiring , It draws a lot and would like to put it on a relay, was looking to see the stock version before messing with it.

I don't have a 68 service manual, but I'll bet it's nearly identical to the 66.

Below is the image of the body wiring. In the middle at the top is the convertible top wiring. The connector shown will go to the top switch mounted in the dash, wires T2A and T3A. The circuit is grounded through the motor body support.

Bet the '67 Plymouth is even closer.

The convertible top section is on page 8-93 of the 1968 Plymouth service manual. In lieu of placement in the main wiring diagrams, the wiring diagram for the convertible top motor, control switch, and circuit breaker is included in this section along with descriptions and testing. The following image shows page 8-93:

The only portion in the main wiring diagrams of the wiring associated with the wiring diagram shown on page 8-93 is the Q1-12R circuit tap off the ammeter stud to the accessory circuit breaker shown in the following images of the instrument panel wiring:

I buried a pair of 40 amp relays behind the l/s kick panel...the top motor is fed through a 30a circuit breaker located back there too...I was able to pry apart the top switch and file the contacts to make it operational again...my new top pump came from hydro e lectric and they said it was normal for it to pull 35 amps so I could see the switch wasn't really designed to handle that

tomorrow when I get to the shop I'll try to make you a schematic of what I did...the original wiring ran back from the circuit breaker in the kick panel to the center of the switch...then the brown wire on the switch (up) and the yellow wire (down) went back to the kick panel area, then back to the pump along the L/S rocker inside the car

You guys are are so good, 8-93 there it is , I was looking on 8-127 area going crazy , Q1-12R circuit tap off the ammeter stud that's where that wire goes ! Volksworld that would very nice.
Thanks to all.

hope this makes sense...numbers are the terminal numbers from a typical Bosch style relay...popular in fog light installations, has a tab to attach it...think the relays and their sockets/harnesses came from OReillys...I swapped wires around and made some of my own on the plugs so the colors would make more sense and didn't wind up with blue connected to brown and brown to yellow etc so the colors in the previous pic are different from what the sockets came with...you can see the one relay that I had to surface mount, the other one is buried in one of the holes in the kick panel

This is perfect, thank you very much, one relay for up and one for down, clear easy to read and understand. I like the kick panel install instead of at the pump. I really appreciate this.

by doing it in the kick panel I was able to leave the original wiring to the switch intact and only had to add 2 new 12ga hot leads to the relays off the post of the circuit breaker...the leads on the sockets were long enough to splice into the existing harness for the brown and yellow

Every time I would lower the the top I would be looking for smoke, its a clean way of doing it , time to get some relays and get r done. Thanks again, it put me on the right track.
