Look at the raw materials, this thing is basically a pro-touring 68 roadrunner under the skin

Scarebird disk brake conversion
11.5 inch rotors

TONS OF OTHER STUFF

Green interior isn't perfect but shockingly nice

Floors, frame great, trunk starting to get soft in places. Due to being stored for a LONG time there are leaks, they aren't bad but need to still be addressed. Body is pretty good especially for a michigan car, there is a grandma crease down the side, my great grandmother put it there in the early eighties. Needs an alignment, needs exhaust (tti sells headers and pipes that add 60 plus horsepower.

I love this car, my kids love this car, it's way more than fairly priced. Show up, be nice and we will all get along just fine. Don't show up waste my time and tell me Newports are worth $2000 and piss me off.

I have seen more hemi cudas this year than 1968 Newports, more superbirds, more AAR cars etc etc, be different than the rest.

Car doesn't look too bad by the pics..... it's not unreasonably over priced..... and the owner is definitely enthusiastic.....

I would say it's performance should be much closer in spec to a formal rather than a pro tour anything!
