It’s driver quality hence the price. A backyard way to improve the looks of many emblems is to spray paint the entire emblem black a couple coats. Let it cure a couple days then 3000 grit sand right across the top knocking the paint off & leaving a decent shine & still leaves the black paint around the sides.
