70 console shift linkage the same as used in 66 ??

asking for a friend - hes looking for the linkage to convert his 66 chrysler from buckets buddy seat to a console shift.
and would the 70 wiring harness work - ive been told no

I believe the harness is different, everything else should work.

I forgot about the ignition interlock. I can't remember what all is needed. I'll do some looking.

For a B body, but I don't think it's much difference between the two body styles, if at all.
