Good day everyone, I need new belts for my car so I went on rock auto and in the description of quite a few belts it says "with leece neville alternator" or "without leece neville alternator". I have no idea what that means so i was hoping someone could tell me what that means and how I can tell which one my vehicle has. Thanks in advance and God bless all!

Using Google images, look up 1972 chrysler leece neville alternator. Look at the image and compare it to yours.
Leece-Neville alternators were usually found in cop and taxi cars, for what it's worth.

Leece Neville alternators are 105 to 120 amp units and are huge in size. As Stan said they were mainly used in fleet vehicles where extra current was needed. Best way to tell, the standard Chrysler alternator for 1972 has a ribbed case with openings for cooling, the Leece Neville does not. Also the standard Chrysler alternator grounds to the block thru the brackets, the Leece Neville has a ground wire on the back that runs to the ground cable on the block from the battery.
