Hi guys
I'm looking for a diagram of the wiper linkage arms and where they fit after installing new bushings. They had dropped off so I'm not sure which way round they go. Thanks.

Here is a photo of for my 1978 New Yorker. I replaced all of the bushings at the ends of the transmission arms with bushings from the parts department at my Chrysler dealer. The ones from Dorman in the auto parts stores are OK, but these are much better. (See posts from 1978 NYB for the Mopar Part Number) Hopefully the photo will give you perspective on how the transmission arms align with the wiper blade posts and the motor. I found it best to attached all of the components, bolt them back into the cowl of the car, then run the ww motor from the park position, pull the battery terminal to stop the motor, then move the transmission to attach the bell crank to the threaded motor shaft. Run it several times, then re-install the wiper arms. You will be set for another 15 yrs.

Something is not jiving here. Bushings are NOT available from anywhere, dealer or parts store, for the 1978 linkage. 1974-1977, yes.

I should have been more clear, the bushings located at the ends of the transmission arms for the wiper pivot posts. Since he was discussing a 75, I did not include the specific issues related to the 78's and the large round multi-part POS polymeric bushings.

Many thanks for the photo. It helped greatly. I wasn't sure which way round they fitted on the right of your photo.
