Hello,

for my 76 NYB I'm looking for a discharge line hose (# 3503522).
I found parts on ebay but no one with a long tube to the condenser ( 13 " - see picture).

thank you
Wolfgang

If your tube is still good, any quality hose shop can replace the flexible rubber part. If you are going to convert this car to R-134a, you will need to locate new fittings as the barbed fitting on a R-12 hose will usually leak with R-134a because the barbs puncture the inner membrane. The R-134a gas molecule is smaller and leaks more readily than R-12. For that reason, all of the black o-rings on a R-12 system should also be replaced with the green high density o-rings. RV-2 compressors have a high failure rate running R-134a because the smaller gas molecule does not circulate the oil very well and the compressor starves for lubricant and burns out.

Wolfgang,
Hold tight one day.... I have a copy of my friend's inventory -- and it shows he has exactly one (1) --
3503522 Mopar A.C. Line....
I will call him in the morning, confirm availability, and get you a price...
Yours, Craig.......

Hello Craig,
sounds good, i hold on - BUT important is the lenght of the metal-line (13"). See the picture !

Hello Dave,
thank you for the informations - last year i converted to R-134a, we changed to the green o-rins !
I hope the compresser will stay longer - otherwise i look for information to change to an other compressor.

Greetings
Wolfgang

hmmm... all of the listed have the short tube after the bow :-( I need 34-35 cm (ca. 13 Inch).

Wolfgang,
Do you see these pictures of the hose that this
Marty Mopar sent you ?????
Those all match -- by picture -- and that is a
3503522 Mopar A.C. Hose.....
Question is: what do you think now???? Can't read
"hmmm"........

Hello,
all of them have to short metal-tubes.
On Page 967 in the Mopar Partbook i can read "..... Line, Discharge, Model C, 400, 440 Eng. 100 Amp. Altr. 3503522 " So this schould be my Hose - but they allways have the short Metal-tubes ?!?!

In the Picture, this schould be the correct lenght.

Greetings Wolfgeng

Greetings Wolfgang! Upon further review it looks like this IS the line you are looking for. Sorry for the confusion. See attached photo. Let me know if you want to go ahead with the deal or wait to see what Craig comes up with. Thanx!

I just went by Wolfgang's Mopar number, but that OEM Mopar # he put out there, appears to be 1974 - 1975, and not 1976...
I don't have the Mopar dealer books to look these up.
If the one that Panhandle Slim has illustrated is correct, you may want to go for it....
Or get the original Mopar number for the correct one, we can pursue it's availability....
Your choice, Yours, Craig.....
