Accel pedal removal

I'm replacing my carpet in the 68 New Yorker.

How do I remove the accel pedal?

Car was undercoated at some point, not sure if the screws come up from the bottom and are hidden by the undercoat.

The pedal has threaded studs that go through the floorboard, secured by two nuts (7/16" I believe) underneath.
