I loved to see the old guy kickin' ***. "Loaded" with 29 rounds???? I didn't see a pistol with an 18" magazine in the video. Pistols with 30 round magazines are NOT concealable. Another example of dramatization/propaganda to sell ad space.
There are some extended magazines that will hold 30 rounds and are about about twice the length of a regular magazine, so maybe ~10", but it depends on the gun. Still not easy to conceal.
We have the "un"Safe act here, so you can't have a magazine with greater than 10 round capacity.... and you can only load that 10 round mag with 7 rounds.

I have a 15 round clip for my 9mm carbine, and I wouldn't want to be running through stuff with it.

******* cops. Anyhow, someone must be a bad shot if you need 29 bullets for one guy. I've got a 5shot 38 and if my home is invaded by more than one...the 7.62 comes out. But i still prefert to never ever be in this situation that I have to use either.... I'd rather stick to the clay targets...
I have guns but just for fun. Even then, unless it's a hundred shot drum for chewing up some.old scrap iron and putting a grin on my face, the three 15 round clips plus the two 10 round clips ought to keep.enough bad dudes far enough away, you know, when the apocalypse happens. Or those damn cops and politicians come for them!
I actually have one but it was just to play around with. I put it away years ago because it's basically useless. I'll dig it out, put it in my Ruger P89 and take a measurement. It seemed to be longer from the top of the slide to the bottom of the mag than 10" but it's been years since I played around with it. I could be just remembering it longer than it is.....It's a guy thing.
