Well you should get a few bucks back from the scrappers for whats left over.

It was difficult to determine exactly how much of my dash was hacked. To me, it was worth the price of getting a large chunk of your dash so I could examine the two with my own eyes and best determine how to piece in the replacement section. So I only used a small piece. So what. Much better to get too much than to try and save a buck and get too little.
It went smoothly. That is priceless...
Oh, and it was Dun-Rite.

Fifty years from now when the 23rd owner does a full nut and bolt resto, he will marvel at the ingenuity of the repair.
