Did anyone see the ad for the Auburn Auction coming up this weekend ? I don't have the exact link for it, but its being run by Auctions America. Try:

http://www.auctionsamerica.com/search.cfm?

It appears there are three collections up for sale - all with NO RESERVE - the Duffy, Rigoli and Scotti collections. Last nite, I looked at many of the cars in just one collection (the Scotti collection). There are so many rare and beautiful cars - even a couple of C-bodies.

The auction starts tomorrow and runs thru Sunday. I suspect the Europeans will show up with their containers. . . en mass.

Do they do it up like the labor day festivities? For no one that has never been, that is a great event

That's an RM auction no matter what they call it. RM owns that Kruise complex now. I had one of the RM guyz from Ontario, Canada on his way down to Auburn stop my place last Saturday looking at the Batwagon. The auction runz May 8th, 9th and 10th according to their flyer. Jer

So. . . Jer. . . Does this mean the BatWagon is on its way to Auburn ?!?

No Rip, but thankz for asking. I'm not sure that itz a no reserve auction this time but if it it iz it haz echoz of Craig Jackson'z circus down in Mesa. The fellow from RM that stopped at my place last week to examine the Batwagon was doing so for a personal friend of his interested in buying it. After the Auction he plans on stopping by again on his way back home either Sunday or Monday to see it hopefully in the sun and drive it and report to his friend. If that falls apart My Grand Daughter will be using it for her tailgater for football partyz in two yearz when she attendz Duke(top of her list rite now) or one of the other fine institutions of higher learning scattered around this country. Seams way better then kicking out the windowz, filling it with dirt and planting strawberriez in it! You know? Kinda like expensive lawn art.
