I have been thinking about this for months since being scammed by an online seller.
After talking to the guy on the phone he was certainly well versed in the specifics of these cars. I purchased some parts with the understanding that he would ship out the same week.
Well we are working on a year at this point and the guy has promised to ship next week many times. I wanted the parts more than the money, so I hung in there. I finally started asking for the parts or the money.
Its going nowhere. Just excuses yet the guy does not block me and continues to engage in conversation.
Several months back I started searching and found a couple people that knew him and confirmed that's his MO. It seems that if you are standing in his presence and he is holding the parts you can buy parts. But if you pay up front expecting him to deliver, he does not deliver and gives the same excuse to everyone. Atleast one buyer had to use their purchasing insurance for a reimbursement.
So that brings me to the question.
Would the site allow a bad guy list?
Why should there be several people getting burned from the same guy when these people are associated in some way?
In thread banter there has been a few names that have a well known reputation for not coming through on a deal. But why not establish a list format as a reference?
Should someone find themselves on it and disagrees. They can post there perspective or rectify the issue.
