Bastardized 1959 "Coronet" build

I think I asked this last fall, but am I going to see the car at the Syracuse Nationals in a couple weeks?

The copper looks pretty good. However, the Range Rover Kinversand has a lot of pearl in it. Gold, yellow and white, which makes the paint pop in a way that can’t get captured or presented by AI. Just sayin…

Prolly not.... I'd like to make it to some national event some day but we are more the spontaneous types than the plan a year in advance types...

Yeah, I really noticed the lack of metalflake in the Sinnamon pic. It just doesn't seem to know how to do that... But it's still freakin impressive... As a lifelong business apps software guy I have a rudimentary understanding of what that might entail to make this **** work... Just understanding what a FIN is and how to locate it??? Not child's play!!

An *** shot was requested.... Who am I to deny?? LOL

Needed to add some lights cuz the high beams are about what lows would be and the lows are worthless... It doesn't help that the ridiculous rake aims them at the ground...

Not much to report lately. New lights definitely help. Trunk release using the Corvette parts is pretty nice. Now she is willing to drive it to get groceries cuz she doesn't need to figure out using a screwdriver to open the trunk.

Drove it to Maine a couple weeks ago and parked at a marina while we ferried over to an island to see my sister. Got a ride from the sister's neighbor back on the main land to the car.... He sees it and asks "You want me to wait and make sure it starts?".... LOL!!!!

We've put 3500 miles on it so far...

A quick mention at 5:18.

Changed the new "fog" lights to run on high beams instead of low... Pretty respectable lights. Low beams remain one step above candles...

We had our first little "mishap". Drove about 70 miles to a friend's house down in Mass then onto a local cruise night. If anyone knows the roads in Mass, they really stink! We hit lots of horrible roads. One was so bad the left muffler decided to pull out of it's hanger... Jackie was driving and we hear the noise. She asks if I want her to stop but we were a couple blocks from the cruise night... we drove on and I "fixed" it there...

Boris was swarmed by a mob that had never seen him before...

Back from our Weirs Beach/Winni tour... Got to see American Graffiti on the big drive in screen while sitting in a custom car... That was freakin awesome....

Boris performed flawlessly other than 1 user error... I didn't manage to think about the fact that the car has DRLs that are on when the key is on. Yup, key was on to listen to the soundtrack during the movie... A little embarrassing to need a jump after the movie. Luckily the 1964 Fairlane beside me was kind enough to do that...

I mean, really... surrounded by classic cars watching Milner.... (Although, that wasn't a Milner scene in the pic... anyone pick up what scene it was? LOL!!!)
