Be safe my friends

My thanks to all concerned for us FL folks.

2004 was a interesting year in central FL, if you looked at property appraiser's aerial photos, most neighborhoods had tarped roofs into 2006. The eye is currently about even with Orlando, but too far offshore to be hurting us much, it's nice to have power still... hot coffee.

Looking to get updates from bulldogchesty and monaco75 after it gets to him later on.

Simple hurricane survival... carton of cigarettes... big cooler, beer, ice, mixers as desired... box of condoms... same effect as a blizzard when the tv stops working. If without water... the ice in your beer cooler will help.

Be safe everyone.

Walmart is only 5 min. away.
Plus, I have a whole-house generator so I can even keep the Hot Tub going.

Directions
I-95 S
Right on I-4 W
Ramp to US 27 S
Right on Sun n Lake Blvd.
You have arrived at your destination .

Beautiful home and yard Stan!!!

I bet Pedro and his 14 cousins are securely hunkered down in your garage.....make sure they protect and guard the NYB with their lives. Keep them away from the beer!

Well, thankfully , it totally missed Fumbuck County .
It's breezy with occasional mist but that's about it.
Thanks to all for your concerns.
:thankyou:

How can you tell the difference when they give you guys a curfew? I like Sebring, but...

False rumor. There was no curfew.
Nobody can figure out how that rumor started.
With Matthew circling and Nicole wandering around out there... I feel we all may get the second chance next week.

Glad to hear everyones making it theough with no problems! Seems like shes weakening.

Some rain, and wind here. Looks like its about to pick up a little bit. Still have power though.

I'm on high ground. Should be ok. May lose a few shingles.
Im worried about Bulldog. It's heading straight at him.

Yesterday Walmart was wiped out of water, milk, soda, and juice.
But they were still able to drag out pallets of beer and drop them onto the floor non stop. :realcrazy:
And your point is...

Be safe everyone. Best of luck to all you on the east coast.

We witnessed a long train of electrical service trucks heading south on highway#55

Wish everyone well
Our daughters family is in NC
It should be rain and wind by the time it gets to them

Stay safe friends! Hopefully Stan's guest house survives...

We are hunkered down for Thanksgiving here and of course the weather cooperated...

Read a book a couple of weeks ago and in it John Fogerty said the "rain" he was talking about was Richard Nixons "reign" of terror regarding all the profiteering on the Viet Nam war.
