Edited: I originally thought this was from my 1973 NYB but folks set me straight! :)

***************************
I came across this in my folders and thought i read on FCBO somewhere that folks were interested in these. Have fun!

(FWIW - i bought the car for $200 in 1991. It was super rusty but complete and ran great. Drove it for 2 years before parting it out for my 69 Fury. Still rocking the trunk pan and transmission among other bits!)

CL41M3C117527 was indeed a Newport 4dr sedan with a 400 engine, painted HT8 (dark brown metallic). If your car was a NYB and you found this build sheet in it, then the sheet likely was a leftover from another car.

Well that's interesting. I might have the VIN from the NY'er somewhere to confirm but that car was dark brown color with tilt/tele and rear heat/AC.

However, thinking about this i did buy a cowl from a Newport (entire "chop" at the a pillar and through floor plan - had entire dash in it, steering column, etc.) and maybe this was behind the dash in that car. Entirely possible...

Cool pic!
Interesting that this possibly came from a new yorker, or more likely from the newport parts half car.
Are you selling the broadcast sheet or just sharing it with the group?
Regardless, thanks for sharing it with all of us!

I was just sharing the broadcast sheet with the group. I don't have any real interest in keeping it - if someone is interested in it please send me a private message. I guess i saved it because it was in VG shape, very bright colors!. Also have the warranty card (with this same VIN typed in), seat belt reminder car/envelope, and owner's manual

Remembered I had the VIN tag screwed to one of the shop cabinet doors (along with some other part-outs). These documents are almost certainly from the Newport cowl/section I picked up probably around 2009/2010. Anyway, just for fun!
