Now that the weather has turned a little too wet and cold for many of us to take our C bodies out for drives as often and the year is nearing its end, thought it would be fun to see some of the interesting and iconic locations members have photographed there C bodies at this year. I'm kicking the thread off with an old Shell station in Winston-Salem, NC.

Our now closed local Melody drive-in on National Road 40. Sadly never got to watch a movie in Goldie before it closed.

Love the old drive-ins. We only have two left in NC that are still open. We take the old wagon and kids to all the Disney movies at the Eden Drive-in in Eden NC.

I've been by there a few times and intended to go there this past summer, but never got to it. Looks like a pretty nice place. Does it get busy?

I have only been there when there was a movie playing for the kids. On those nights you have to be in line when they open at 6pm, they sell out. Not sure about the other nights. There is a nice little drive up curb service cafe on the other end of town. Good place to grab a burger before the movie.

Picture taken with my iphone. Makes the Monaco look like a “B” body!

In my home town nothing is more iconic than the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. With temps in the low 50's I couldn't resist. Went through the museum. It was breath taking to see the older midget, sprint and champ cars on display. For those who enjoy mtr sports this is a must see. Took over 50 pics. The restoration quality is worth the trip alone.
