i've made some rims for a dart , using the 14 centers in a 15 outer band , and than added the part of the 124 rim that holds the wheel cover to the 15 outer . we didn't weld it up totally it needs air gap for water and what not tobe free to come out of that band welded on . and of course these where made for a dart , but thats just more room on other bodies , these are 15x8 bands on a 14 rim center .

coming up on 7 years with this thread. thanks for helping/sharing info that others might find useful,

Respectful, friendly reminder. Please also try to help out with the Exactly What Wheels & Tires Fit C Bodies? thread.

This thread started with a survey and is mostly pics, the other one is pics AND specs which may be more helpful to people planning to do something different with their cars.

1. Picture of C-Body with wheels/tires
2. Wheel size (diameter & width), and, offset, backspacing
3. Tire size, e.g., metric radial, old-style alpha numeric radial, bias ply
4. Be Accurate As Possible: may be your car, maybe something you found on internet, or whatever
5. Known issues, e.g., interference with suspension parts, body parts, etc
6. Known adaptations, e.g, needed air shocks, special lug nuts, spacers, moved leafs, etc

Thanks again for your help.

Ideally, an excel chart would be compiled for all of this.
With just a few minutes of thought, I see 10 columns of criteria required for each car (minimum)
x 156 pages, but perhaps only 50% of the cars have sufficient info to log them.

Still a lot of work, unless it was spread amongst multiple people and then merged.
