Went on an adventure, today to the Canadian Automotive Museum, nice museum in Oshawa. Learned a lot about Canadian Automotive history. A bit of a trek from Toronto via GO transit, worth it

It was Malcolm Bricklin. The guy who brought us the Dune Buggy, Subaru and Yugo. He got the New Brunswick gov't to put up $26mm to build in Saint John NB. 2700 made before they went belly up. Can't believe they didn't have one in the museum! Acrylic body. Interesting car.

Saw one of those last year at a show, most awful light tan color, some guy telling his buddy it was what Delorean did before the aluminum car. Those are interesting cars though.
The Delorean was stainless steel.

...and didn't have windows that rolled down. When the AC puked, you were baked in the oven.

Delorean had 7 years to learn from Bricklin's mistake. I guess he learned lesson one and two - Lesson 1: Get someone else to pay for it. Lesson 2: When getting someone else to pay for it, find a foreign government desperate for jobs.
