For sale is a Carter Thermoquad Carburetor 6-2141. Believe it to be for an early 70's big block mopar. Came off a mopar big block 383. Will probably need to be rebuilt. See pictures. Asking $75.00. Buyer to pay shipping. Thanks for looking.

That clearly means it wasn't stock on that 383.

There are lot's of sources out on the intrawebs for carb numbers. This one is pretty comprehensive for 4bbl carbs.
