Carlisle 2025

Thats a first I’m hearing about that
The showfield rules page (that I got in the mail) has a section called "Driving on-grounds". It says:

9 AM to 3 PM on event days: ALL FORMS OF TRANSPORTATION WITH WHEELS ARE PROHIBITED. Exceptions are mobility aids, golf carts used by staff.

Before 9 AM, After 3 PM on event days: All forms of transportation are required to show the correct Carlisle Events-issued sticker.

So I'm confused as to what exactly they're meaning with the 9 to 3 time-frame.

I think they mean "no cruising around" you can come in, or leave whenever, but don't drive around....my interpretation

A lot of us have been going there for years and never had any issue. Probably most of us have come in late at some time or left early. If you show up at let's say 11:00, they will wave you in like all the cars in the line ahead and behind you.

They don't want people driving around in golf carts or stuff like that. They also don't want you cruising the grounds in your car.

It's a very laid back experience. The staff is always very friendly as are the participants and spectators. Just relax, look at some cars and buy some parts. It's all good!

I don't check the forums while at carlisle.

No one ever confirmed that the pictures are at 10 O'clock Saturday in front of someone's car in the C body row.

Anyone know?

My stepdad is on the road, he met up with friends and is in Port Jervis. Safe travels everyone!

We are hitting the road tomorrow morning at 4:30 AM. We have 5 cars coming down with us this year.

My friend with the red and white 68 Newport convertible moved back to England and had his car shipped back. He said he is going to come to next years show, but this year was just too busy for him.

Sorry @SportFury70 you aren't able to make it this year, maybe I will see you at some northeast event.

Hope you guys have fun at Carlisle this year. Sure do wish I was going, but between the limited time I have with the move into our new home in TN, I just couldn't do it.
At least I'll get to see some of you who plan on attending Scott's @LocuMob memorial next month.
Safe travels everyone.

I’m sorry to hear that Mike but I’m glad to hear he will be back next year
