I have heard that Carlisle Productions has bought the property of the old manufacturing plant on Carlisle Spring Road across from the firehouse parking. They plan to tear the buildings down and construct a hotel and Convention/Auction Center of some sort. The Expo Center, of course, is still for sale.

Guess they don't plan on leaving Carlisle anytime soon.

Last year, I climbed the hill once in the heat..........did a 360 and immediately went to find a misting fan at the grandstands.

The view on top is fantastic. I make the ascent early in the day on Friday. Once is enough for me.

Its a great view from the hill but the grandstands gives you a 360 degree view plus a nicer shot of the surrounding hills

Good tip, I've never been to the top of the grandstands.

Yeah, the kids like to go up to the top and run back and forth, annoying everyone who is sitting there.
