Console Measurement needed!

Was wondering if anyone can measure how wide their center console is (side to side-between the seats) on a 67 or 68 Chrysler.I'm thinking about converting over to bucket seats and maybe building a custom console.

46 Inches front to back, 9 1/2 wide at the widest point. It becomes narrower as console heads toward the dash.

At the rear, the storage compartment is the widest, narrows at the lid where the shifter is. Most narrow in the front.
