That's what got me thinking. I saw an episode of Wheeler Dealers that had a 1964 Corvette with a 327 and the air cleaner you just posted. I love Wheeler Dealers. It's not like the other shows with the *** hats hosting.

That's a good idea, but, the sales guy that buys the cars, buys the cars he remembers from his youth. At least that is what his shows intro says.
