Since I can’t make the 4th annual C-body meet close to Chicago this weekend (ok after driving through there on the way to Indy last weekend I am not up for an 8 hour one way drive) I decided I would drive a couple of hours through Minnesota Lakes country to go to Parkers Prairie,MN for a car gathering. It is close to Alexandria MN so within a couple of hours from MSP if any members in MN are interested. I have no idea if there will be 10 cars or hundreds of cars. If anyone is in area it will be a nice day for a drive. Plus they have a decent local brewery there, Thousand Lakes Brewery Thousand Lakes Brewing - Thousand Lakes Brewing that has Crowler’s and Growler’s to go.
I have become fond of the PPE (Pandemic Pain Eraser) which is A 9% Belgium Ale, so maybe need to pick up a couple more bottles.
Anyway nice weekend for a drive.

Nice day for a cruise. Took my big camera in case some Photo op’s came up. I took all back roads through farm and Lakes country.
About a 2-/2 hour drive to the show.
Not too many bugs with the breeze, but my bug catcher did it’s job.
If I can get my big camera to communicate with my phone, I will post some beauty shots.

Not too bad of a turn out. About 60 or so cars. Only one other Mopar. An old Dodge Pickup.

Here are some pictures of my car on the way there and on the way back. I used my hi res 22 MP camera. Not sure how far I downsized when transferring to my phone.

I forgot the Cordoba. It was owned by the same guy that had the Fury III. He said it’s s pretty much his daily driver.

245 miles round trip. Averaged 12.7 mpg. My gas gauge was between 1/8 and bouncing to the E mark when taking off. I put in 19 gallons meaning I had about 5 gallons left. Probably only 4 usable. The metermatch for my gauge seems to be pretty accurate.
Better than what I was getting last year. I need to keep it under 70 and use the kickdown less. But it is so much fun to kick it down and zip around other cars.
