I don't think Mr. Niedermeyer is a k car fan. Probably drives a Toyota corolla because that's a innovative car.

I couldn't say for sure if he feels that way about all K cars although, from previous reads, he does acknowledge that the original K car saved Chrysler. I did like the K car comparison over the years as the platform was used for a different car with more baubles stuck on and a name change. Seeing them like that really does drive home what Iaccoca did and how he also drove Chrysler into the ground eventually all over again.
