Who has done a disc brake conversion on a 68 Fury or other similar C body car?
I'm hoping to find affordable parts that fit and look right so I can get the four VIP's changed over this year.

i did the eci kit. alot of people chose the scarebird kit too.
good stuff, it made a huge difference and is well worth the money.

Well, I changed my 65 sport Fury over using Factory parts from a 73 Newport (back in 1985). Factory was cheap and effective.

I used the ssbc system wasn't cheap but really made a big difference. Joe 100_2376.jpg100_2377.jpg100_2378.jpg100_2381.jpg100_2382.jpg100_2383.jpg

Joe: what was involved in making the change.did you have to change the master cyclinder. what was included in the kit. have been thinking of changing my 68 sport suburban wagon over to front disc.

Putting a hitch on my 68 300 to pull a small camper.
Hanging on every word here.
Based on the cost I like the Scarebird idea. With drums on the rear I don't want to over-do-it on the front brakes.

For a true driver I would go scare bird if you use the car for long trips etc it puts very common parts available everywhere dodge ram calipers and pads all make for easy fix on the road

Everything you will need will be in the kit including the master cylinder. I bought the A154-4 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ssb-a154/overview/make/plymouth/model/fury-iii http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ssb-a154-1/overview/ http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ssb-a154-4/overview/
