Well they are fun to drive, if you fit. The Honda S2000 is another that is a blast, from what I've been told.

It may depend, as always, on the particular shade. Green being a classic example. I now have a red car and in this red with the pin striping by the dealer it is very nice looking. Example of color from web minus pin striping and darkened back windows.

Cant say I ever particularly looked for red. But I do remember a darker red Newp that I re homed when I lived out west. As I remember, she was a contender to be my 68 Monaco's stall mate and that red made it awful hard to let her go.
