If this is a real low mileage 1968 New Yorker, then the price is too low and if it has rolled over once, could it really look this nice?

I believe a car can look that nice even after 50 well cared for years.

I dont know about this car but I think they can...

Sabeti Motors is your typical Buy Here Pay Here used car lot.
They may have acquired this car for a fair price and are tacking on a cupla grand or so.
Beautiful car but it of course has rolled over. It's common sense.
If I could talk him down so that he makes a grand on it, it would be a great deal for all parties.

This car was traded in for a late model I'm sure. I bought my fury from a used car buy here, pay here lot. The guy that owned it before me traded it in to get a truck.

i will never buy a car from a buy here pay here dealer ever again...

let me just say i rubbed my money on poison ivy when i paid them...

Well he's not trying to make too much money on it. He only tacked $5990 on to what he paid for it. I watched the online auction where it sold.

The guy that had collected most of the cars that were being auctioned that day was a bit eclectic from what my brother tells me. It's hard to tell how many miles really are on it. I might be able to get my brother to take a looko at it if someone is really interested.

My two cents.... Yea, the guy is trying to make a killing on the car, but so what? I think the car can be had for a fair price, based on a asking price that might be a little high but not outrageous. That's based on pictures though and the car could be a turd in person....

I've never made any money on a c body.. But of I had everything I had in the 90s.. I would be jigga Rich or at least be able to buy a sport fury S/23

Just out of curiosity, I called the dealer to inquire more about the car and the actual mileage. Since it was owned by a car a collector with a lot of cars, I was wondering what the real miles were. He found a door jamb sticker that showed an oil change at some 97K miles, so it likely has been around once. He said it had a little surface rust on the hood and some around the inside door opening, but that, as the photos show, it is a very clean nice condition interior and very nice chrome on the exterior. He didn't try to push it on me or try to lie about anything either, so at least he seemed like a decent guy. He said by law they can only list what an odometer shows in their advertisements. He also acknowledged it was bought at the auction referenced above.

I don't think they are redone, as they look too original to me. An upholsterer more than likely couldn't duplicate them that well. And the arm rests are even very nice.

Steve

I had never seen or noticed pleats on the arm rests before. Is that the way they came from the factory?

Nice car for sure.......$5-6K would be a fair price if there isn't any surprises.
