I’ve spent the last few months removing and refurbishing the accessories and repainting the valve covers and manifold. Used an old old container of ‘Calyx’ on the exhaust manifolds. Trying to make ready for car shows. See anything out of whack?

Thanks,

you mean like "points" type issues or just mechanically? (if the former that notched alternator belt looks out of place).

Car looks AWESOME - nice work!

The only thing that jumps out at me is the alternator belt and 7/23 battery sticker, but in my mind those are wear items so I pay them no mind. What's up with the red cable? If that's a ground, I'd paint it black.

Looks good overall - nice attention to detail! I second the comment regarding the cogged belt, as well as the battery cable colors and terminal ends. Is the distributor cap supposed to be tan like my '66 Fury 383 or was '64 still black like my '59 DeSoto 383? I don't know on the '64.... My breather on the passenger valve cover is turquoise, but I can't say that yours being black is necessarily wrong if they did that differently for a different year or factory. If you want to bump it up a notch, you can also order heater hoses with correct ribbing and stamped numbers from YearOne. Here's my Fury:
