I’ve seen a factory 318 4 speed 70 challenger before.
Also 383 2blb 68 satellite with factory tach and 4 speed.
I will get pics of fender tag next time I get over there.

AC.

Just for fun - another "ghost option" would be a manual trans and Autopilot car. There was a 66 300 4 spd car where the owner installed an Autopilot system, but it was never offered by the factory. It was in one of the magazines about 15 years ago.
Actually a 4 speed in a Chrysler is a ghost option too. It is not catalogued nor does it show up in the FSM or parts book. Did any get built? Maybe Canada only?

OK whew lotta reading & geezing here, here's one I spotted quite awhile back and I don't think I posted up a 'Not Mine' AD because the CL AD disappeared rather quickly. I went even as far a geolocating this one in Google Earth.

That's incorrect. You would still order a four speed in a Chrysler until the middle of the 1967 model year.

Maybe I have my info wrong - I'm always up for being corrected!

Was it only the 300 that stopped offering the 4 speed in 66? Why is that sticking in my mind??

It doesn’t surprise me that you could get a 4 speeds those years. The mechanials were identical to Plymouth and dodge. But it was not officially listed in 66.
Has anyone ever laid eyes on a factory 66 4 speed Chrysler?
