Factory 4-Speed-C-Body-Photo-Thread

Here's a nice 66. Owner had it done and just recently passed away. It was on display as a memorial at our local show.

Well, that's the most conclusive evidence we could ever get.
Looks kinda like a PRNDL in the dash - unless it says DODGE. Hard to be sure.
I don't care for the red top, but keeping it down is the solution for that.

It's not real - USA did not have a Monaco 500 vert.

It's been put together...

Nice car, regardless.

Yes, liberties were taken, but I do know that the shop that did the car wouldn't miss an obvious tell like the selector if he had done a conversion. This is a true factory 4 speed, although not as it left the factory.

You left me/us with a mystery, what is not factory? If you can enlighten me please.

I found this picture that maybe shows it does spell Dodge in the middle but it’s a little blurry.

I wonder how a white convertible top would look. The red is too striking for my taste. It is a superb looking vehicle otherwise.

I was watching the auction as it was happening. It went from 16k to the final bid in a matter of minutes. You had about four dedicated bidders that really wanted that car. Hopefully it is everything the winning bidder was hoping it would be when he gets it.
