1968 Sport Fury

Decoded fender tag and next to the word paint there is no color below the word paint it says
other: Light Blue Metallic Door Frame color, Black racing stripe. The car is red and appears to be the original paint any thoughts?

The only way this explanation makes any sense to me is that you tried to use an online decoder and the paint code doesn't show up in a print out.

When you look at the fender tag, what letters are under PNT? Does it say PP1 or something else?

Under the letter S in UBS does it have a 2?

Something else doesn't make sense. A red car with a blue interior?

Does it have the H6X or H6S black interior?

There shouldn't be any code under the U in UBS.
 
Post a picture of the tag. Otherwise we are just guessing.

Where does someone get the info for decoding a C body tag? I can figure out some of my codes but would like to know all. My A body, no problem. Granted I haven't looked super hard to find my answer.

Welcome to the site. I agree that red with blue doesn't make sense. Put some pics up and the crew here will figure it out.

Asking the same question the same way twice isn't going to help us understand what you have going on there.

Thanks for the reply, under PNT it says RR1, under UBS is a 3. S6X interior. The decoder never showed anything under many of the codes. If you know a good fender tag decoder please send me the link. Thanks again for your help.
 
I will post pics and all info as soon as I get a chance just bought the car and its on its way home. I bought it for my son to drive to school he's 16 going to a private catholic school where all the kids drive high end cars which I cant afford so we will break the trend and send him in a cool Muscle car. The other kids jaws will drop when he shows up in this car. My son only likes Mopar's their are no other cars worth having to him hard core 16 yr old wearing his Jimmy Hendrixs shirt to match. Just wish he'd wash it once in a while lol
