Couldn’t find the fender tag thread. Here is one from my 70
I've found this one that works pretty well for fusies. Using MyMopar's decoder for @1970300vert's tan 'vert, CM27T0C176254 -- I got the following:I’ve found that a lot of the online decoders don’t seem to like C bodies.
Perhaps someone here might establish a list of all those codes gathered here from decoding tags.
ayilar? ayilar?

Oh, absolutely. This is why I said "pretty well" -- thank you for making it clear that some manual adjustments are needed. Regardless, it is very helpful and I am glad that it is there as a big time-saver. Here are a couple of other adjustments needed:But for this 1973 tag:
The exterior color name is taken from the Dodge vocabulary, the trim code goes partially wrong and three sales codes are unknown. So it still needs some manual tweaking (in square brackets).
Afterthought: "Light Duty Automatic Transmission" in combination with "H .D. Trailer Towing Package" doesn't square either. D34 assumed many slightly different meanings over the years, by 1974 it had become "Transmission TorqueFlite Automatic, 3-Speed". Also see the D32 vs D34 thread.
Possibly MyMopar works reasonably fine with early Fusies and is less satisfactory for the late ones, as new sales codes were introduced.
One of the problems with the codes is that they are context-sensitive, as the IT specialist calls it. A given meaning is valid for a certain span of time, for a certain car line or in relation to the application of other codes with contrasting meanings. To a certain extent a Mopar decoder programmer probably knows this, but no one (me included) has the complete picture.
That wasn't the right page. The relation between the MyMopar online form and the code list is not as straightforward as I thought. Three codes were returned as unknown (post #6):
J67: Unknown [1977: Tr/Tow Wiring Harness]
L21: Unknown [1977: Cargo Cmpt Lamp]
M15: Unknown [1974: Bright Upper Door Frames]
But the listing has:
J67: HD wiring harness
L21: cargo lamp
M15: Up dr fr mold
So at MyMopar they know more than the decoder form admits.
