I followed up on a tip and this is where it led me to. Looks like a hoarders habitat, junk everywhere. There were several more Mopars, both forward look and 60's B body's in a fenced in area. No one home. It's not far from me so I will be back. These cars all all very nice, rust free examples that have just been left sitting.

Wow! That's a treasure trove. Are they for sale?

Rust free is a stretch. I went back today and met the owner of the cars. Most are in nice condition. n addition there's a 59 Fury, a 57 Savoy sport coupe, 64 Polara 2 dr H/T. A 59 Edsel, A 56 DeSoto sportsman 2 dr. The cars have been moved there recently. A couple showed past body repair.
The owner is a nice enough guy but has the "i'm gonna dix them someday" illusion. But first he wants to build a big building to house them. I doubt either of those things will happen.
I did get the feeling that any of those cars could be bought. He was busy today and couldn't stay and BS any longer than we did. He has my contact info, I'll see him again.

Perhaps drive the Polara over there. (8 miles from me).

there is a reddish 1946-48 D-24 Dodge club coupe in the 3rd picture

that was the 1st car I ever owned...check it out if you have a chance...I'd be interested!
I'd be all over that like a cheap suit!

I'll keep you in mind Marty. My thought is that I should ease into this situation, qualify myself with the owner before trying to separate him from what cars he may sell. It doesn't seem like he has the resources or ability to do much on his own. I may attempt to convince him to sell some to be able to afford fixing his favorites. I'll get more photos next time I'm there.

It's always annoying when they are like that ... In your heart, you know that they'll never do it, and that those cars are going to rust a little more before something good happens to them, if ever.

Is the 57 Savoy sport coupe pale yellow? Maybe its Suddenly? Hahaha. bluefury61 your plan sounds good.

I can't honestly remember. I know it has the sport tone two town trim and has suffered a color change, but that day was overload and I can't say now. I'll be back, likely tomorrow for a follow up. I don't want to badger the guy.
