First post, first Plymouth

Damn that's nice!!!!!

Haven't found any, but did any of these come in a two-tone scheme? I'm thinking that light turquoise w/white, white top, white and blue interior might be nice.

No two tone combinations were available on any convertibles from any manufacturer in 1966, unless you are refering to the convertible top being one of the two colors and the second color being a solid color body. If you do a custom paint job, your pool of possible buyers will be limited to those who share your taste in customs.
I don't think I've met anyone who actually likes Chip Foose's custom paint jobs with one color on top and a second color on the sides. I wonder if anyone would look twice at his cars if they didn't have his name behind them.

I was more or less thinking of following the line where all the trim goes with a stripe. Red, blue, black, with a white stripe. White top, similar colored interior. Something open to broad tastes. If it was for me I'd get a nice maroon and white setup.

I'd stick with a close to stock color that you like. I'm not at all worried about the color of the car matching the fender tag but I do like to see them in close to factory available colors even if the factory didn't build one that way.

It all depends on who your target market will be. If you want the widest possible group of Mopar buyers, you are better off returning to stock colors and make it a nice driver. If you weren't a member here and someone posted your ad of a "plum crazy" 66 vert, it would be ripped apart on the board. Now if you were to keep it and do it to your taste, totally different story. Just my two cents.

Perfect IMO. Wow!! I also like this two tone. I would imagine it has a black top, pretty nice looking car.
