Any forums like this for pre/post war Mopar?.
Here's the brake question: Has anyone ever used this kit to convert a car similar to mine?
The car in the photo, (which conveniently turns up in the first few Google search results for 1951 Imperial), is mine. Unfortunately I have not driven it much for several years, largely because of the design flaw which allows brake fluid to be drawn into the engine and burned. Luckily, I was able to save my passengers and the car from disaster. Later I disabled the power booster and have driven it sparingly with manual brakes and the original one pot master cylinder. However I'd like to start seriously driving it again.
Coinciding with my plan to bring it back home and work on it, a friend offered me this underfloor conversion kit he had purchased for a non-Mopar. I don't have the car in front of me, nor the service manual, so I can't take any measurements. Your thoughts?
