There were several cop cars- all movie and tv props....the blue 68 ran- is a 318 - 3 in the tree, I showed up with my trailer looking to buy a complete parts camper van but passed- told him I was going to come back with some moonshine and arm wrestle him for all the old C bodies - and yes he would let them go- he doesn't have the heart to crush them

I have to hand it to you Canadians, how do you keep the old cars looking so damn good, you have worse weather than us, yet the cars are not all rusted out.

Yeah why is that? You use salt up there or what?

This yard is only about 500 yards inland from the North Atlantic, he said the last time there was a big dirty hurricane there was several cars he put online to sell them quick because they got covered in salt spray and would be done in no time if left sitting there.....and there are lots of cars in my area that you could shoot a cannonball thru one 1/4 panel and it would not touch any metal on its way out the other side -lol

Lots- I work for the Dept of Highways and we use liquid rust too!! (brine)
Lots, except on all those stretches that have signs "sanding only next xxKM". I just did the #3 from Bridgewater to Halifax, and the 252/395 in Cape Breton last week. I saw quite a few of those signs. What district do you work in?

Halifax East District - my area is from the Airport going north/east to the Pictou County Line

Is the blue police car actually a 67 with a 68 front end?

Look at the tail lights, 67 tail lights

And all the new members come out of the woodwork never to be heard from again until the next crop of rusty metal pickings.
