Friday tunes..

Don't forget Tone Loc "Wild Thing". I was at a food court in a mall, and LL Cool J came in with his entourage. At first I had no idea who he was, but after the constant girl wanting an autograph I figured it out.

My favorite Christmas song. ok my number 2nd favorite, the first would probably get me banned here. I have a couple I know would get me banned.

Not for the uninitiated to south park. don't consider it safe for work unless you want folks to look at you weird. It works better with the actual video. but they don't allow that stuff on the youtubes anymore..

"There goes John F Kennedy caroling with his son." classic..

Here's one that was a little before my time. :laughing7: I remember hearing it as a kid though, my Mom liked it and I still do. There have also been quite a few cover versions of it.

Deep Purple was one of my favorite bands in the seventies.

When Smoke On The Water was first released, I was hanging around with a buddy, one afternoon, when we heard it on the old CFRW-1470. We both liked it and both bought the 45 rpm single, which had a shortened "live" version on the back. Not too long after that, he bought the "Made In Japan" album and I bought the "Machine Head" album.

Years later, I bought the "Perfect Strangers" cassette, which I still have. It doesn't sound too bad considering it's age. I still have their "Hush" 45 rpm single too. :)

Wasn't that popular in the US but in Europe where most People didn't understand the lyrics it was a Smash hit.
Even my mother hummed along. ;)
