Front plate

I got this plate from the forward look online store. It has been sitting on my front seat and now it’s on the front bumper. I also have another photo of the car with the door open if you notice my interior light does not come on I even changed the bulb but still no light

Start at the door switch, is it sticking? Chase the wire(s) as best you can to see if they are good. It's a pretty simple circuit.

Start with the other door, does the light work now? Then you know the light is good and it’s a door switch or wiring problem.

some forward look cars (1961 Chryser) turn on a courtesy lamp under the center of the dash with the doors. The dome lamp is a manually operated switch only.

I am going to try the door switches before I leave for work but if its the wiring I am not going to mess with it I will leave that to some one who knows what they are doing . Well I checked the switches on both doors and no light came on I believe its the wiring and I am not going to mess with it

When you check the door switch, loosen it slightly, then tighten again as it grounds back through the threads, and they can fail if painted / corroded
and that is a gorgeous car!

The switches are not sticking and I am Leary about messing with this and I do not want to make things worse I will leave it up to some one who knows what they are doing to play it safe
