Does anyone know a good company that makes a new gas tank for a 63 Chrysler?

Bob has it. Many vendors may sell them but I believe they are the only one manufacturing "new" tanks.

has anyone had any experience with DVAP?

Yes. Stardom has gone to their head with prices to match. On their show, Desert Kings, it looks like they're giving stuff away. BULL!
That's done only when the cameras rolling. I prefer dealing with Wildcat.

Do you have a link to this Wildcat?
Are they another salvage yard?

Both of those tanks do not appear to have a filler neck on them. I have the original tank in the car and it appears that the filler neck is not removeable.

Call them.....I'm sure they can help you......

I'm not so well versed on the pre '66 cars but everything after has a remove able neck and uses a grommet and it appears same goes for the earlier B bodies.

It turns out that my car was probably an early 63 car, since it had a 62 tank on it, which doesn't have the remove-able filler. So I ordered a 62 tank.

Completely forgot about this thread. Sorry guys. It all went perfectly, and I've had the tank in there since then.

The 62 tank I ordered had the filler neck as part of it, and match the old tank exactly. The sending unit was also completely rusted out, so I replaced that as well, blew out the fuel lines, and the car has been great since then!
