Grandson/Papa project

My 13 year old grandson wants a truck. I said instead of buying one when he turns 16 and can drive, let's start building one so it's ready to go when it's time. He's a farm kid and has the ambition to work and willingness to learn...perfect!!
Here's what were starting with, a 75 W200 club cab. We're shortening the frame for a short box and the power will be supplied via small block with a 4 speed.basic sim0le transportation that he'll be able to work and play with. Plus the satisfaction and pride of doing it with his own hands (with a little help from Grandpa).

Nice one! I never got my own vehicle to build before I could drive but wrenched a ton with my Father and Grandfather. Awesome times!
