Ok that makes sense, thanks Jay! I literally spent hours yesterday morning going through those books trying to find info on the headlights. The main reason it took so long was, every page I turned was interesting "oh, that's how that works"..."oh, that's how it properly comes apart"...it took forever lol

Ps, Martin at Arizona Parts has a set of the correct fender skirts for sale.
Appreciate the heads up, but I've already been fortunate enough to find a set (thanks again Samplingman). Figured it was kinda pointless to put them on until something is done with the shotty quarter panels.

You know after I cleaned the copper switches I had the idea to check continuity with a meter before slapping it all back together. Everything was checking out good and I was like " Man, this has got to work now"...fortunately I was correct. Not sure if you guys can relate, but I'm not used to things working out so easily. Thanks again
