Does anyone have a idea to why these will not come apart?

I bet you are just not pulling hard enough.

I've come across many that has gotten a fine layer of dust and debris down inside...hitting them with some PB Blaster usually helps free them up.

Wear gloves. When you do pull hard and the connector suddenly releases, one of your hands will hit something metal. No matter how many times I do this, metal is always stronger than my skin.

Thank you everyone, I got them apart a few hours ago all I did was get a little pick and wiggle it around and they came apart
